A U.S. firm for people whose lives cross borders.
Many of our clients were born elsewhere, do business in more than one country, or are building a life here while family and assets remain abroad.

They need a lawyer who knows U.S. law well and who also understands where they are coming from. That is the firm we set out to build.
We keep the practice focused on matters we know thoroughly. It allows us to answer questions directly, to give realistic estimates and to stay with a case from the first conversation to the last document.
Four working principles.
- I
Discretion
What you tell us stays with us. Confidentiality is a professional duty, and we treat it as a personal one.
- II
Clarity
We write and speak plainly. If a document needs a dictionary to be understood, our work is not finished.
- III
Diligence
Legal deadlines are rarely flexible. We keep track of them so that you do not have to.
- IV
Candor
You get our honest view, even when the best advice is not to go ahead.
What you can expect.
- I
A written engagement
Before any work begins, you receive an engagement letter that sets out what we will do, what we will not do and who is responsible for each step.
- II
Fees agreed in advance
Depending on the matter we work for a flat fee, an hourly rate or a combination of both. It is always agreed in writing, before we start.
- III
Regular updates
We tell you when something happens in your case and when nothing has, so you are never left wondering.
Every matter begins with a conversation.
Tell us briefly what is happening. An attorney reviews every inquiry and we will tell you whether, and how, we can help.
